About

We are a company that wants to enhance fitness training with ability to monitor bio-markers. The typical goals around training are based on weight, time, fat content, waist size, etc. All of these measurements are tracked using various apps and devices. One of the problems is most people don’t understand what is happening inside their body during training. Our company has created a program to monitor simple bio-markers such as Cholesterol and %Hemoglobin A1c for trainers and clients. Individuals will now be able to observe if their exercises and diet are making a significant difference in not only the outside appearance, but can visualize an increase or decrease in bio-markers that effect overall health inside the body.

The Founders of Check Your Fitness

Bart Pitula

Bart Pitula decided to make the commitment to living a healthy lifestyle 3 Years ago and it has changed his life. As an Air Force veteran, he has over 30 years of experience in the biotech and health industry. Over the course of career, he has gained an expertise in biomarkers and how they effect the human body.

Working as a director of engineering research he tested various blood markers on himself and discovered that his cholesterol level put him at a very high risk of having heart complications. A normal cholesterol value is less than 200 ng/dl and his was close to 260 ng/dl. Bart experienced a near death experience when his heart monitor screen flatlined in the ER. He decided it was time to make a change.

Before learning about his cholesterol level, Bart regularly went to the gym 4-5 times a week, ate reasonably healthy, and weighed close to 250 pounds. He never knew that his blood markers were telling him that something else needs to change. He met Wes Watson, who completely gave him a different perspective on life and what it really means to be dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle.

Bart went on a diet that focused on macronutrients and a workout regiment that starts at 4am every day. Bart closely monitored his cholesterol level while working on his new program. In 3 months he had lost 50 pounds and his cholesterol level decreased to 140 ng/dL. Bart has continued his program, but wanted give the opportunity for others to monitor their biomarkers and learn from his life changing progress. He is now a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified training several individuals to have the right MINDSET to achieve any fitness or nutritional goals.
